Alan McDonald Elected Chairman

Our sales and commercial director Alan McDonald has been elected Chairman  of the midlands branch of the Institute of Architectural Ironmongers Alan previously served as Vice Chairman.

Dortrend has long been a supporter of the Institute and Alan has contributed a lot of his free time supporting the work of the Midlands branch.

We  believe that the professionalism of institute members ensures that projects are completed without problems meeting regulations and ensuring total user satisfaction  the current policy of some “manufacturers” of selling directly to users often causing compatibility problems and user dissatisfaction.
