We were given a brief by Franchi PLC London to develop a pull handle for the prestigious project at 20 Fenchurch Street, EC3 for offices for Markel  International.

The original sample offered by one of our competitors flexed excessively, particularly as some of the doors were very heavily glazed.

The requirement called for a long rigid pull handle with a consistently softened edge, which is difficult to achieve on a 1800mm length of material.  Dortrend's design also featured substantial legs which were flush all round so that they look as though fashioned from a single piece of metal. 

All these requirements were achieved by our skilled and experienced craftsmen. Dortrend is a large enough manufacturer to supply major projects but small enough to help develop unique products to our customer’s exact requirements and to a very high standard.

The handles were supplied in a matt black soft-to-the-touch finish
