Export success for TouchClean antibacterial coating
Since launching their antibacterial coating TouchClean© just one year ago door furniture manufacturer Dortrend International has seen interest in the product grow so fast that they have already had to expand production.
Strong UK demand has now been joined by huge export orders, and a new 2000 square foot coating plant has been installed in a dedicated facility.
The plant enables Dortrend to supply any of its products in TouchClean coated form and all sizes of order can be accommodated. The state of the art equipment keeps Dortrend’s quality at the highest level.
TouchClean is a photocatalytic antibacterial coating which is harmless to humans, yet kills bacteria, viruses and mould spores. It reduces the risk of transfer of pathogens from one person to another by touching door handles. It is especially useful where there are vulnerable people who use the same door, such as in care homes, nursing homes, general hospitals, psychiatric hospitals, detention centres and so on.
TouchClean coated door handles have already been successfully installed in several major hospital projects, including Queens Medical Centre Nottingham, and University College Hospital London.
