lightCLEAN (TM) is a coating which can help protect against transmission of infection from one person to another,

The lightCLEAN (TM) coating is a photocatalyst. This means that it energises a reaction on exposure to ultraviolet light without being used up itself.

The coating is applied to a standard Dortrend product and forms a layer so thin it is invisible to the naked eye.

The ultraviolet light can come from daylight or from artificial lights such as fluorescent tubes.

How does it work? The lightCLEAN (TM) coating reacts with any organic molecule and oxidises it. The result is water and carbon dioxide.
