Riverside Business Centre

Dortrend International Ltd has been manufacturing door handles at our Stourport on Severn base since the late 80's. The company was established in the early seventies at a site that was established in Victorian times. It was the home of William Allday ltd who manufactured a wide range of metal products, including kitchen equipment.

Recently we came across two pictures, one of an exhibition in 1938, the other of the casting shop, long demolished and replaced with a modern building. Health and safety has improved somewhat since this picture was taken nearly eighty years ago!

Stourport on Severn was born out of the canal age, a brief period which was quickly replaced by the Railway age. It is a pleasant town sitting beside, as its name suggests, the River Severn. The river Stour flows through the middle of our site and is a haven for all sorts of wildlife.
